Los efectos en la salud mental de la pandemia por COVID-19 son directos por la propia enfermedad y también derivados de la situación que la propia pandemia ha generado. Los grupos especialmente vulnerables son los hospitalizados, las personas con enfermedad mental previa, con situaciones difíciles provocadas por el aislamiento y la crisis económica y los trabajadores sanitarios, aunque los efectos psicológicos afectan a toda la población.
