Abstract

After reading the article by Manuel Vélez Díaz-Pallarés (https://ojs.sanidad.gob.es/index.php/resp/article/view/132) about Spain, he highlights that the treatments used for HIV, such as Bictegravir and dolutegravir cause alterations in sleep quality and poor sleep quality in general, causing depression, changes in mood and lower adherence to treatment, potentially leading to poor control of the disease. The researchers demonstrate that there was a certain limit when analyzing the population, such as the reduction of participants, since at first 119 patients were included, but due to inconclusive data, only 103 were studied, mentioning that there was a failure in the data collection registry. , for which, as it is a non-significant population, the data should be contrasted by doing an analysis with the intervening factors and increasing the study universe. We reviewed other articles and would like to emphasize them.
