Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has represented a challenge for professionals and health systems around the world due to its high rate of infection and spread. Among all professions, dentistry is one of those with the highest risk of contagion by COVID-19, given the proximity to symptomatic or asymptomatic patients, the constant exposure to body fluids (blood and saliva) and the potential interaction with aerosols generated. during dental procedures.
