The positive impact of public-access defibrillation programs on survival rates for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest is well documented. However, the literature has highlighted issues regarding the availability of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and Semi-Automated External Defibrillators (SAEDs) in various cities during nighttime hours and on weekends. Therefore, the purpose of this letter is to outline the challenges currently faced in a Spanish city (Pontevedra).
